The colour expert for architecture is the Vice President of the China Academy of Art and the immediate deputy of Jiang Xu. In 2011 he confirmed to the Chinese weekly magazine Nanbu Zhouka that he had been made aware of the Bröhan Collection by Jianping He in the summer of 2010. In an interview with the German website Stylepark Song reported how he had accompanied Xu to a meeting with the mayor of Hangzhou and the acquisition of the collection was confirmed there. And, in that interview, surprised everyone with the following statement about the collection “There aren’t many real Bauhaus pieces among them. In total about 200 to 300 pieces.”
