Stephan Balzer
The Berlin art collector and management consultant was commissioned in 2005 by Torsten Bröhan to find a buyer for his collection of design objects. The written contract was terminated in September 2010 at short notice. A few months later it became known from various publications in China that Torsten Bröhan had sold his collection in the fall of 2010 to the municipal government of Hangzhou. Since then a mighty battle has been raging in court between Torsten Bröhan and Stephan Balzer who feels cheated out of the agreed on broker’s commission for the sale.
