Torsten Broehans million dollar secret

The German professor of sociology and expert in urban studies was particularly interested in China and the development of its mega-cities. From 1993 to 2011 Hassenpflug was Professor of sociology and social history of cities at the Bauhaus University Weimar. Hassenpflug is married to a Chinese woman and is considered a close confidant of Torsten Bröhan, who claims to have travelled to the Expo 2010 in Shangai at Hassenpflug’s initiative and by chance met Janming Song of the China Academy of Art which ultimately led to the sale of the Bröhan Collection to Hangzhou.
